Is it possible to learn to play the tenor sax in 7 months?

Hi I am a devoted musician in my sopre year of high school. I am female if that matters. I currently play the flute which I recieve private lessons once a week. I play in the junior jazz at my high school along with concert band. But my teacher said i belong in Honors Jazz and Honors Wind Ensemble but couldnt this year due to schedule conflicts. I practice every day with my flute for an hourbut could practice up to 5 hours if wanted to. I want to learn how to play the tenor sax because first off I love jazz music and the saxs. I have tried to baritone but it was way to heavy for me. So my question is if I practice 3 hours a day for the next 7 months could I get to be good enough to be in All State?
