I'm auditioning for RENT in a few days and I want to sing Hero by Mariah Carey. I am a tenor with a wide range and flexible low notes (lower than A2), but I don't know what key to put the song in. She hits an E5 in chest voice, what should be the highest note I hit in chest voice? I don't want it to be so much lower that they think I have a small range...
